Dr. Matt Pouliot
Dr. Pouliot has been involved in the field of Regenerative Medicine since 2011. He has participated in previous clinical research involving the use of mesenchymal stem cells to treat degenerative disc disease of the spine. He currently is involved in two clinical research studies using a novel approach along with injection of bone marrow aspirate to treat arthritis in the knee and lumbar degenerative disc disease.
He has spent time teaching other physicians Regenerative Medicine techniques through conferences put on by Boston Biolife and TOBI (The Orthobiologics Institute). He has also treated many former and current professional athletes from the NFL, NHL, and the MLB.
Dr. Pouliot completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the State University of New York (SUNY Upstate) in Syracuse NY, serving as chief resident his final year. He later completed a fellowship in Pain Medicine at SUNY Upstate.
He is double board-certified in the specialties of pain medicine and physiatry (PM&R). Away from clinical practice he is busy with his 8 children and loves to spend time in the great Colorado outdoors, where he and his wife both grew up.
